- Flexibility: Built as separate, smaller units (or modules) that can be added or removed, so rather than buying an extra battery to increase your home’s energy storage reserves, you can just add another battery block to your iStore solar battery (to a maximum of three modules per one management system and a maximum of two energy management systems per inverter). - Scalability: Designed to scale in size from 5 kilowatt-hours to an impressive 30 kilowatt-hours of energy storage. An average Aussie home with four people uses around 22 kilowatt-hours a day, so this battery certainly has everyone’s energy usage covered!
- Reliability: An optional “Backup Box” can provide emergency backup power to essential circuits during a grid outage.
- Safety: The iStore lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery has four layers of built-in protection, including self-extinguishing components. LFP batteries are also known for being safer and more stable than other lithium-ion batteries.
- More charging power: While some batteries only let you use 80–90% of their stored energy, the iStore solar battery offers 100% depth of discharge. Coupled with other built-in energy optimisers, the battery’s usable energy can be maximised by more than 10% over its lifecycle.

The iStore solar battery consists of stackable 50kg modules, each with a capacity of 5kWh (kilowatt-hours). Connecting two modules creates a 10kWh battery, and connecting three modules gives you a 15kWh battery.
Need even more storage? No problem! You can connect two sets of 15kWh batteries side by side to achieve a maximum capacity of 30kWh.
